Dr. Gerry Ahrens

Orthodontist - Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics

Dr. Gerry Ahrens grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Gerry earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville, then went on to earn his DMD from the University of Kentucky and completed his orthodontic residency at the New York University School of Dentistry.

After graduation, Dr. Gerry lectured for a bracket company about Self-Ligating brackets and opened a third location in Taylorsville, KY. He’s a member of the Southern Association of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontics, Louisville Dental Society, and the Louisville Orthodontic Study Group which he served as President for 5 years. When Dr. Gerry is not working, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with his wife Bailey, daughter Poppy, and pups Norman and Ollie.

Dr. Douglas Ahrens

Before passing the business on to his son, Dr. Douglas Ahrens provided more than 25 years of caring service to the Louisville community. Dr. Gerry Ahrens now runs the family business, bringing extensive knowledge of the latest in orthodontic procedures and technology. This father-son orthodontic team has a passion for crafting beautiful, more confident smiles.
